CCD World


The CCD-world mailing list is an electronic forum for the discussion of all matters relating to the development of CCDs and SWIR detectors for professional astronomical purposes.


The CCD-world website is also host to materials supporting the
IAU Commission 9 working group on detectors.

I'm not usually one to toot a horn, but in this case, I think I'll make an exception:

Thanks Jim! (Jim, a pioneer of the use of CCDs in astronomy, was the source of the original hardcopy informational CCD mailings, which circulated a huge amount of valuable information and whose loss, due to budget constraints, prompted the inception of CCD-world.)
