2009 CTIO REU Program Application Information

If you have questions about the CTIO REU program or about the application process, please contact Drs. Ryan Campbell, Nicole van der Bliek, Sean Points or Chris Smith by email at ctioreu@noao.edu, or by phone (an international call) at 011-56-51-205200.

1. A completed official application form; electronic submission is encouraged, but a paper copy can be sent to the address below.
2. A letter describing your scientific background and experience, your educational background, and a description of your goals and how the NOAO REU experience at CTIO would affect your plans for your future (please limit yourself to no more than two pages). We encourage electronic submission of this part also, though again paper can be sent to the below address.
3. Official transcripts from all of the colleges and universities you have attended. An official paper copy should be sent to the address below; they should also be faxed (preferably by the school, but by the student is acceptable) to CTIO in Chile at 011-56-51-205212.
4. Two or three letters of recommendation. Signed paper copies should be sent directly to the address below by the application deadline. We encourage electronic submission also, by email directly to ctioreu@noao.edu AND hrnoao@noao.edu.
