"VLT-MAD Observations of the Core of 30 Doradus"
 

As part of the science verification programme, we obtained H and K band imaging of the core of 30 Doradus with the VLT Multi-Conjugate Adaptive optics Demonstrator (MAD).  Here I will give an overview of the performances of the different fields, discuss some of the trials of photometric calibration, and mention some of the scientific applications we are now pursuing with the data.
