I discuss the results from a new wide-field
survey of the globular cluster system in M31. We have discovered a
large number of new globulars.
We have obtained both Washington photometry and medium resolution
spectra of a number of these clusters. We combine our results with
those of previous datasets to form the most complete study of this
important system. We investigate the spatial distribution,
kinematics and metallicity function of the system.
