At the Universidad de Valparaíso we have successfully used the mesoscale code MM5 to simulate (and forecast) the atmospherically conditions in Macon (Argentina), one of the pre-selected sites for the ESO-ELT.  We show our results and future goals of the recently created astrometeorology group at the Department of Physics and Astronomy at the Universidad de Valparaíso.
