"Investigating the Methods of Finding the Ages of the LMC Star Clusters"

We present an investigation of 86 star clusters in the Large Magellanic Cloud (LMC) galaxy, using different age-estimation methods. Because of its intermediate distance, the LMC is uniquely positioned to compare its clusters that have previously been aged using both resolved (color-magnitude diagrams of the constituent stars) and unresolved methods (integrated photometry). Our goal is to compare several different methods for determining the ages of our sample of LMC stellar clusters and determine the reliability of integrated methods over a wide age and mass range.
