The effect of light pollution on today's environment is being acknowledged
by more than just people involved in the industry. Good lighting by avoiding
light pollution and upward light is becoming common practice amongst the
lighting professionals.  Achieving the right lighting parameters in
particular for outdoor lighting and meeting these ideals has become
luminiare designing challenge for the lighting manufacturer.

In every case there is always a challenge coupled to a compromise. This talk
will help to highlight these issues.
