MONITORING ARTIFICIAL SKY BRIGHTNESS FROM THE GROUND
Hugo E. Schwarz,
CTIO/NOAO, Casilla 603, La Serena, Chile.

The methods used to measure and monitor sky brightness from the ground are
briefly discussed. Some results from various observatories are reviewed, and
efforts under way at CTIO are presented. Archival data mining is shown to be a
useful tool in the long term monitoring of sky brightness.
