First try the IDA web pages !  These give the most complete sample of recent articles on light pollution ; see also the IDA's own press releases.

An excellent US national public radio program discussing the basic multidiciplinary aspects of light-pollution control can be heard by clicking here.

The BBC has a good list of references to the subject (over 400,000 on the web!).

Sample articles for reporters - e.g. a well-written article in USA Today "Towns Direct Efforts to Clear Sky" (8/30/99), an article in the Washington Post (9/24/00), a feature article The Dark Side of Light in Audubon Magazine etc.  Try also the introductory article by Andrew Bridges "Fighting to Save our view of Heaven" or one from NASA "The Fading Milky Way".  Working-group member Pierantonio Cinzano's recent "First World Atlas of the Artificial Night-Sky Brightness" has attracted extra-ordinary world-wide press attention.
