La Recova

La Recova is a town market of Spanish origin which dates back from 1830.   Constructed in colonial times, and rebuilt in 1981 after a big earthquake, it has two central yards on the first floor and restaurants on the second floor.   It is completely surrounded by arcs where visitors can find the best handicraft market in the city as well as  typical food and souvenirs.
