Comments:

DJJ would say a brilliant night !!   Kevin says an ideal night !!

Smooth sailing. Early evening seeing improved quickly to the 0.9" to 1.3" range.

DES team performed the following observations

1) 1 standard (Maxvis)

2) west_commish/obstac

3) two more standards

4) C1/C2 SNe fields

5) east_commish/obstac (for almost 2 hours)

6) Three standards

Turn over to NOAO NEO team occurred a few minutes early -- thanks for that Kevin !!

Donut system: A switch in dz controller from a P only controller to a full PID with tested parameters offered marginal improvement in RMS and mean but has better noise handling.

Example centering values for the night were:

zero point 75.5" E - 12.7" N (no good solution)

zero point 472" E - 163" N

Centering on C1: first pass 489" W - 183" S; second pass: 62" E - 0" S

Centering for C2: first pass 512.9" W - 177.4" S; second pass: 67.8" E - 0" S

NEO program for NOAO community time was finished. SISPI and DECam behaved impeccably.

Late evening seeing was very good, hovering about 1.0".
