MTF of an EEV 42-80 CCD

Hello CCD world!

  We have measured the MTF of a thinned 13.5 micron pixel EEV CCD at 670nm 
(the so called CCD 42-80). We get the following basic results 

Pixel Strehl ratio:    0.6870
Effective Pixel size:  1.21 pix
80% ensquared energy:  1.78 pix
80% encircled energy:  1.67 pix
 
which is not bad at all. The measurements are not as accurate as we would like
so please consider the results as preliminary. The basic conclusion that the
CCD is performing quite well (effective pixel size ~16 micron) in terms of
resolution is though safe.
