Camera shutters

Roy,

At CFHT we have switched to prontor shutters.
In order to reduce the heating in the open state
we use our own shutter driver.

Bencher also makes shutters from 2" to 5" in diameter.

In general, shutter vendors don't address the temperature
rise during a long exposure so usually some  rework
is needed.
