Just to add to my previous message-
I've now spoken to a colleague here at EEV.
Try getting some Nitrile gloves- not perfect, but much better than PVC ones;
they are sold for clean room use.
The anti-static properties presumably are irrelevant for most of the
cleaning & assembly- except when you finally install the CCD.
In any case, it must still be best not to put the gloves in the solvent if
possible.
