SWIR detectors

While what Martin Beckett says is eminently true, I wonder if it might
be useful to conduct a straw poll.  I will be happy to look into setting
up an "SWIR-world" if there is sufficient interest.  To that end, the
more people that respond to the following, the better idea we'll have
of your interest. 

Please indicate which of the following you prefer, 

  1) Expand CCD-world's mission statement to explicitly include SWIR detectors
  2) Start a new mailing list for SWIR detectors
  3) Leave things as they are

Remember, you can now do a simple reply and it will go to me before
going to the whole list.
