Optical transmission of "IR filters" on camcorder CCD's?

Dear Mr. Sutherland,
You are fully correct that for ALL CCD applications in consumer fields,
IR blocking filters are used. A typical example is the C500 filter made
by HOYA. But different manufacturers of the CCD cameras are using
different filters. The IR-filter should be more or less tuned to the
colour filter characteristics of the on-chip filters.
