CCD position at UKATC

Dear colleagues,
		the UK Astronomy Technology Centre 
(UKATC) in Edinburgh has opened a new staff position 
for an Engineer/CCD specialist.	The selected candidate will 
join other engineers and scientists etc. in an exciting and 
growing instrumentation program. We expect our new CCD 
person to take a very active role in CCD procurement, 
characterisation, optimisation and camera design. More 
specifically we have projects and proposals which include 
work on new deep depletion devices, an ultra fast triple 
beam camera and AO cameras. There is also the opportunity 
to spend a few years working at our telescopes in the 
Canary Islands.
