CCD-world: CCD-world moves (again)

Dear CCD-world subscriber,

	CFHT have decided to retire the software they have been using
to run emailing lists.  Since CCD-world is one of those lists, we must
move.  Copenhagen University Observatory have kindly agreed to host
CCD-world and this message is coming to you by the new installation.
To make the transition as transparent as possible, you will still
be able to use the old address to send messages to CCD-world.  In
fact, right now, both mailing lists are simultaneously active.  The
CFHT list will shortly be retired and replaced with an automatic
forward to the Copenhagen address.

	The new list is built under majordomo and has all the properties 
of that popular system.  To obtain help on majordomo, please send 
email to majordomo at astro.ku.dk.  To send a message to CCD-world 
send email to CCD-world at astro.ku.dk (or to CCD-world at cfht.hawaii.edu).  
I am still the moderator and administrative requests should normally 
be sent to me.  As before, all CCD-world messages are approved by 
me before distribution to the list, and the "Reply-To:" header line will
default to CCD-world at astro.ku.dk.  All subscription requests are also 
handled by me.  I expect there may be a few minor teething troubles,
please bear with me until they're sorted out.

	The CCD-world web pages and (now sorely out-of-date) archive
of posts are still at:

	http://www.cfht.hawaii.edu/~tmca/CCD-world/

	I am working on moving the pages to the NOT and to a high-
bandwidth mirror in Finland.  The archive will be updated at the same
time.

	Thank you for your patience with this move, I hope it will not
cause you undue inconvence.  Also, I would like to thank Bob Link
of CFHT who has worked hard to maintain a high-quality service for
CCD-world while it was at CFHT, and also the CFHT executive for 
allowing us to use their facilities.
