CCD-world: EG&G Reticon name change

Fellow pixels,

Keeping with the recent trend of changing names, I would like to bring
to your attention the transformation of EG&G Reticon to PerkinElmer
Optoelectronics.  We bought over PerkinELmer Inc. and have changed our
name to theirs.  The reason is more a marketing strategy for more
visibility and also a vision change within the company to be more of a
commercial market player.

For those of you who know us as Reticon, we will still remain Reticon;
only now instead of EG&G Reticon it will be PerkinElmer Reticon.
