I cannot comment on the above chip.
If you ever plan to operate high efficiency backside thinned chips (like the Marconi CCD42-40) you might find that parallel clocking times increase somewhat. In this case the unique 'dump drain' facility on the 42-40 allows much faster clearing of the chip. The data sheet (on web page below) for the similar 42-80 device explains it....
