You Should Supply This Info to CTIO Before Your Run

CTIO Observer Support personnel will install your gratings and filters, configure and focus the spectrograph. They will get as far along in this as possible before you arrive at the telescope. Therefore, before your run you MUST send us a Visitor Support Questionnaire which specifies the:

Filter
Echelle Grating
Cross Dispersing Grating
Approximate maximum and minimum wavelengths in the cross dispersion direction.
Camera/CCD combination you will be using, although this should have already been specified on your original proposal.

If possible, include all of the information in the three lines on the top of the plots made by using ECHMAP --- Interactive Wavelength Coverage Simulator (e.g., camera, port, ccd, cross disperser central lambda, echelle grating central lambda, etc.).

You can select the decker, slit width, and the precise grating tilts after you arrive at the telescope. Observer Support personnel will work with you to tune these settings on the spectrograph to your needs.
