YALO Telescope Observer's Report for 2001 Jun 02

Observer: Juan Espinoza
Observed all night from 22:35 to 10:18 UTC.
Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night.
Problems were encountered, see the summary for details.

Seeing and Weather:
   Beg: Seeing 1.4 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Light & Variable
   Mid: Seeing 1.6 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Moderate
   End: Seeing 1.8 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Light & Variable, to moderate wind

Observing Summary:


Program completed through constant cap of cirrus.  Portugal target was started
at an airmass of 1.97, the earliest possible time.  EB173 observed guideless and
very close to the moon. --- Ohio ob2k035 unfotunately landed a little too close to
bad column.  I meant to be observed it again but because of problem described below, 
ran out of time.

*Technical problem caused extremely elongated CCD images during Aql.
The culprit would be the DTI unit (guiding system), the wich it froze, my guess id after
I started guiding.  e.i.; it looked as if it was guiding but it really was not.
