The NOAO-Access is a proto-type  tool to help users access VO-compliant and publicly archived imaging data. At this point in time, please use only W3C compliant browsers (Mozilla, Firefox, Netscape). It is not yet functional in Internet Explorer or Safari.

If the user chooses to stage data, you will be taken to a new page showing the status of the staging process.

We stage VO data by accessing image files from the independent VO Archives and placing them in a temporary location for easy access.

The user should see the status of the process for each image (Not Stages, Staging, or Staged--see the left yellow translucent circle in the figure). Likewise, the right-hand side of the web page explains how the user can download these data once they are all staged.

After a few moments, the page should automatically refresh to show the re-newed status of the staging.

The user can also see how much data they have staged (in Megabytes).
