Chiang Mai, Thailand. Wat Chedi Luang - erected in 1401 by King Sam Feng Ke and raised to 90 meters. Earthquake in 1546 partially destroyed the chedi which is now 42 meters. Has a well-preserved foundation showing architectural magnitude. (Sam Burris).
